If you are unable to work for more than 26 weeks due to a non-work-related illness or injury, and you are approved by Cigna, you will receive up to 60% of your monthly base salary up to a maximum monthly benefit of $15,000 USD. LTD benefits continue for the length of your disability, but generally not beyond your 65th birthday. Your benefits can continue after age 65 if you go on LTD after age 60.
Transocean pays the full cost of LTD premiums and you are automatically enrolled on your hire date or transfer.
